Politica Science Department

The the department of political science was established in 1996. The student strength increased three fold by 2023 from 82 to 436. The thrust area of teaching is the basic principles of political science, world constitutions, political philosophy, public administration, rural government, empirical and pragmatic analysis along with intensive focus. Faculty formation-Dr Beena Joshi, doctor Neha Singh. Department dedicated to promote teaching in the emerging field of public policy, good governance, and national international issues like climate change, green governance, human rights, environment, fuel diplomacy, migration, political development, ethical leadership, voting awareness, political participation, international organisation, international law ,global north south issues ,gender issues ,women empowerment etc. Department is committed to give new directions to the teaching method .the course has been divided into 6 semester. Provide a healthy and vibrant and environment to student for the purpose of developing and Indian way of studying.to make teaching socially inclined and relevance in a multicultural society like india.to make its student well equipped understanding various political issues and social challenges.
