Mathematics Department

Department of Mathematics in the INDIRA PRIYADARSHANI GOVT.GIRLS P.G.COLLEGE OF COMMERCE, HALDWANI (NAINITAL) was established in the Acedmic Session 2005-06 with 26 students with one faculty at the graduation level.Presently there are two post of Assistant Porfessor in the department. In Acedmic Session 2022-2023 there are two faculty members with 274 students at graduation level in the department.
At present one faculty member Professor Narendra Kumar is working in the department.

VISION & MISSION

Vision:

1- Create analytical and logical thinking among students and promote Mathematical reasoning as an important area of human thought.
2- To achieve high standards of excellence in generating and propagating knowledge in Mathematics.

Mission:

1-To prepare our undergraduate students to develop the attitude and ability to apply Mathematical methods and ideas in a wide variety of careers.
2- Taking action to start P.G.classes in the department at the earliest
